A recycled metal sculpture depicting a creative impulse — the figure's upward movement symbolises the contemporary African artist's reach towards the universal. The metal's natural patina, deliberately left raw, contrasts with the finesse of the form in a highly expressive work.
About the artist
ETS ARTCONCEPT has been creating monumental and decorative sculptures in Yaounde for more than ten years, combining recycled metal, ceramics and local materials in works that express contemporary African identity.
